I launched Lulu B with the vision of creating a collection of contemporary, stylish yet wearable and affordable jewellery. I have a passionate belief that a gorgeous piece of jewellery can transform or update an outfit for any occasion, whether it is jeans or heels. It can also lift the spirits - especially during weird and uncertain times like the ones we're all living in now!
Having spent my entire career in the retail industry, predominantly for Marks and Spencer, I set up Lulu B in 2002 to combine my passion for fashion & retail whilst still allowing me the flexibility to work from home and look after my growing family.
I focus on sourcing high quality jewels, from the Far East and Europe, buying only from experts in their chosen fields. I hand pick small elements of their ranges that I really love, and carefully collate my Lulu B Collection. I try to assess whats new and on trend in the marketplace whilst ensuring the pieces I choose are timeless and transcend fashion.
In the past, you would find Lulu B at private house pop-ups, charity fairs and Spirit of Summer & Christmas, with a taster of the collection also online. This is partly because my favourite part of my job is interacting and forming relationships with my wonderful and loyal customers and also because i've never fully been able to come to grips with e-commerce.
However, times are changing and I have finally realised the importance of an online presence in the retail industry and have heard the demand from my customers to step up and "get it all online!"
I am really proud to share with you all our new Lulu B website! A new and improved platform jam packed with all of our stock that you would find on the pop-up and fair circuit. A massive thank you to my amazingly talented daughter, Emily, who has built this new platform for Lulu B and has since also come onboard full-time to head up Marketing & Sales.
We hope you find the new website more accessible; new products, new e-gift cards and lots of new imagery too to give you a better idea of sizing. However, if you have any questions about sizing, colour-ways, advice on what to buy your niece for her 18th birthday or what earrings would look best with my new summer frock then please contact me because interacting and helping you all find the right piece from my collection is my favourite part of my job!
